The LISTO project has been running for one year now and we are in full swing connecting universities with companies to advance strategically important topics. After our training workshop in Montevideo in the beginning of 2018 (read report here), the seven Latin American partner universities have started organizing a pilot AIMday at home.

AIMday is a match-making event for academic scientists and organizations to make contacts and exchange knowledge. By matching organizations need for new knowledge with academic expertise, AIMday brings understanding and new perspectives to actual problems in organizations. It is centered on small group discussions where a question raised by an organisation is highlighted, and discussed during one hour by scientists and experts from several different disciplines. This format – a question, one hour, a group of experts – has proven successful in finding useful contacts, collaborations, and new paths to solutions to organizations’ questions.
